 For more than 150 years, the concern for women's suffrage and continued voting rights has been of critical importance. Llona and Lynn Steele, of the League of Women Voters, will review major advocates for women's rights, the campaign for and the ratification of the 19th Amendment on August 26,1920, and the formation of the League of Women Voters in Chicago on Feb. 14, 1920. Learn about Illinois’s important contributions to these efforts.
