 From 1492 to 1867, over 22 million forced and free migrants from Africa and Europe crossed the Atlantic to the Americas. Learn about “immigrant voices”—letters, diaries, memoirs, and published narratives that capture the poignancy, pain, dreams, and thrills of their experiences of transatlantic migration and life in the Americas. Presented by Aaron Fogleman, a Presidential Research Professor in the History Department at Northern Illinois University. Registration required.
